Holy Week Celebrations for Sacred Heart Catholic School in Gallup were special this year. Before leaving for Easter vacation, our 7th and 8th grade students held a Stations of the Cross re-enactment for the students, staff, families, and friends. The play lasted 30 minutes and was a moving re-enactment by our students and organized by our theater teacher, Mrs. Boucher. Thank you to the participating students and Ms. Boucher for a special event for the students to experience as they began Easter vacation. This Easter Season nine of our students received Sacraments. One kindergartner was baptized and eight-second graders received their Sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation. Mrs. Nice, our 2nd grade teacher, prepared all of our students throughout this school year to be well informed and prepared to receive both the Eucharist and Confirmation.

School clubs are a key activity at our school and they help enrich our students. Every school year, the students are given the opportunity to sign up for the after-school clubs and this year we offered Lego club, Games club, Theater club, Spanish club, Cross-stitching club, Choir club, Science club, and Lunch Club. These clubs are thanks to our volunteer teachers and parents who helped to provide these after-school enriching activities for our students at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Gallup.
